Peter Banks

Peter Banks is a seasoned global executive with more than three decades of leadership in large-scale infrastructure investment, regulated industries, and cross-border commercial negotiation. His career spans high-value projects across mining, manufacturing, transportation, and strategic resource development.

Peter has led transformative initiatives across the UK, USA, Europe, and Asia. He co-led the peace negotiations that concluded the Karen Nation conflict in Myanmar, a milestone that opened the region to significant inward investment in cement production, rare earth mining, and gem exploration. He subsequently led negotiations in Laos for investment in the Sepon region, home to one of the world’s largest gold deposits. Earlier in his career, Peter was recruited by Monster Cable, where he was instrumental in the creation and market introduction of THX and Beats — the latter acquired by Apple for $1.3 billion. As a consultant to British Airways, he designed a pioneering customer relations program that transformed the airline’s approach to customer engagement.

An entrepreneur by background, Peter founded and successfully exited Bpan Muue for $38 million prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director for Explore My Store (EMS), one of the Pacific’s largest online marketplaces, where he provided strategic oversight that secured a multi-million-dollar Microsoft investment.
